Sometimes I feel like I’m two people. Maybe more. Firstly I am Joanna, the daughter of my parents and the sister of my siblings. But I have many different characters. There’s Jo the silly friend, Joanna the serious teacher, Joanna the girl who’s searching, Joanna the “mature” acquaintance, Joanna the girl from a big family, Joberg the freebird who just wants to sing, and Joanna the lonely girl with a million emotions which are ready to burst.
Which one(s) AM I? Am I all of these? Can I BE all of these?
If I were to try to describe myself, well, I couldn’t begin. Because what I think I can’t very well communicate into words. Every once in a while, however, I manage to transfer to complete thoughts –and sometimes even words– something new about myself, and about this world I’m in. The purpose of this blog is to record all of it, so that it won’t get lost.
And so for now, I am simply a girl. But not JUST a girl. I have a Savior. I am not alone.
